Taking Measurements

In order to select the best costume size you’ll need to take measurements of your own body in order to compare yourself to the size charts below.

You’re going to want a tape measure and probably someone to help, it takes some odd contortions to measure yourself accurately. Paper measuring tape is available for free at Ikea and I find it very handy to have a few of them on hand.

When wrapping the tape measure around yourself, be careful that you don’t twist it and keep it level throughout. Pull the tape measure close but not tight. Stand up straight with good posture and avoid puffing out your chest or gut.

The standard measurement tables below should fit most buyers, look for the size that best fits your body. You may also attach your measurements to your order for a more closely tailored garment.
